About Transmission
Transmission comes in several shapes: a native macOS application, GTK and Qt applications for Linux and BSD, a Qt build for Windows, a headless daemon for servers and routers, and a web interface that can drive any of them remotely.
The defaults are chosen to just work, and features such as watch directories, peer blocklists and the web interface are a few clicks away. Ubuntu shipped it as the default torrent client for years, largely because of how little there is to learn.
