About Tuwunel
Tuwunel is a Matrix homeserver you run yourself and use with any Matrix client, bridge or bot. It is written entirely in Rust and implements the Matrix specification for all but the most niche uses, aiming to be cheaper to run than Synapse.
It is the official successor to conduwuit and is sponsored mainly by the government of Switzerland, where it is deployed for citizens. It ships as Docker images, static binaries, Deb and RPM packages, and packages for Arch, Nix, Alpine and Gentoo.
