About V2Ray

V2Ray, maintained by the V2Fly community as v2ray-core, is a platform for building proxies. It runs as a program on a server and on client devices, carrying traffic over its own VMess protocol and other supported protocols and transports so that connections can pass through restrictive networks.

It is configured through files rather than a graphical interface, and it forms the engine behind separate client front ends such as v2rayN. It suits technically confident users who run their own proxy server.
