About Vorta
Borg is an excellent backup engine with a command line that puts people off. Vorta gives it a window: profiles group source folders, a destination and a schedule, and every point-in-time archive is listed so you can browse it and pull back a single file.
Backups stay encrypted, deduplicated and compressed by Borg itself, and the destination can be a local disk, your own server over SSH, or the BorgBase hosting service run by Vorta's authors. There is no lock-in either way, because the repository is a standard Borg repository.
