About vpn-slice
vpn-slice configures split tunneling for OpenConnect or VPNC. By default, it routes selected hosts or subnets through the VPN while other traffic uses the normal network connection.
It can look up hostnames using the VPN's DNS servers and add temporary entries to /etc/hosts, which it cleans up when the VPN disconnects. It is intended for users who want to limit what goes through a VPN.
Strengths
- Routes selected hosts or subnets through a VPN
- Works with OpenConnect or VPNC
- Supports host lookup using VPN DNS servers
Limitations
- Designed for split tunneling, not routing all traffic through a VPN
