About WhySoSlow
WhySoSlow monitors CPU temperature and clock speed, running processes, memory and page file use, disk fragmentation, power settings, kernel and application responsiveness, and BIOS and driver behaviour. On request it produces a detailed report with suggestions for improving performance.
Alarms can be set for conditions such as a CPU reaching its maximum temperature or being throttled for too long. It also includes the AntiFreeze task manager for when the system is unresponsive. A free Home edition and a paid Professional edition are offered.
