About qtVlm
qtVlm is navigation software for sailing boats that doubles as a free GRIB weather viewer. It reads vector charts (S57 and S63), raster charts such as KAP and GeoTIFF, Visit My Harbour charts and MBTiles, and includes an AIS module and an instruments module that reads NMEA sources or an internal GPS.
Its routing modules calculate the best course from weather data, including multi-routing to compare departure times. It is certified for Iridium GO and works with a companion Android and Wear OS app.
