About yay

yay (Yet another Yogurt) is a helper for the Arch User Repository. It wraps pacman, so the same command searches, builds, installs and updates packages from both the official Arch repositories and the AUR, and it resolves AUR dependencies automatically.

It is one of the most widely used AUR helpers and suits Arch and Arch-based users who install community packages regularly. Shell completions and translations are included in the project.
