About CachyOS
CachyOS is a rolling-release distribution built on Arch Linux. Its packages are compiled for x86-64-v3, x86-64-v4 and Zen4 instruction sets with LTO, and core packages also get PGO and BOLT optimization. The linux-cachyos kernel uses a tuned scheduler, with BORE, sched-ext, BMQ and RT options.
It offers a graphical Calamares installer and a command-line installer, plus more than 17 desktop environments and window managers. It suits Arch users and gamers who want extra performance without rebuilding packages themselves.
