About Akkoma
Akkoma is fediverse server software: you can join an existing instance or host your own, and follow and talk with people on Mastodon, Pleroma and other ActivityPub services.
It is a fork of Pleroma that develops at a faster pace and aligns itself more closely with Misskey. Its distinguishing features are custom emoji reactions and Misskey-Flavoured Markdown, including animated text. Documentation and a forum for meta-discussion are available, and development is funded by donations.
