About Mitra
Mitra is a federated social network server for micro-blogging. It speaks ActivityPub, so accounts on a Mitra instance can follow and interact with people on other fediverse servers. The server is written almost entirely in Rust and is developed on Codeberg with frequent tagged releases and automated build and container pipelines.
A separate web front end, mitra-web, is maintained alongside it, and the project also points to third-party clients such as Phanpy and Husky. Documentation in the repository covers post markup and migrations.
