About Altap Salamander
Altap Salamander is a two-panel file manager for Windows focused on quick directory navigation and fast panel drawing. Built-in viewers display text, binary, image and database files, and archives such as ZIP, RAR, 7-Zip and ISO/UDF images can be browsed like folders.
It also includes FTP, FTPS, SCP and SFTP clients, a password manager and controls over recent history lists. Following Altap's acquisition by Fine, version 4.0 is now freeware. It suits Windows users who like the Norton Commander style of file management.
