About Audacious

Audacious is an audio player that aims to stay light on system resources. You can drag in folders and files, search a whole library by artist or album, build playlists, play CDs and stream internet audio. A graphical equalizer and audio effects adjust the sound.

The interface uses Qt or GTK themes, or Winamp Classic skins. Bundled plugins add lyrics lookup, a VU meter and more. It runs on Linux, BSD, macOS and Windows and is maintained by volunteers; version 4.6.1 is current.
