About C-Kermit
C-Kermit is a communications program from the Kermit Project, which has been developing Kermit software since 1981. It makes serial and network connections, acts as a terminal and transfers files, and its built-in scripting language can automate sessions and transfers.
The project is open source and still maintained by Frank da Cruz. C-Kermit 10.0 was in beta testing as of March 2025, and a separate Windows program, Kermit 95, is also in beta.
