About Core FTP LE
Core FTP LE is a free file transfer client for Windows that connects over FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSL and TLS. It supports resuming interrupted transfers, site-to-site transfers, drag and drop, viewing and editing remote files, filters, custom commands, firewall settings and command-line transfers.
The free edition shows no ads and never asks you to register. A paid Core FTP Pro adds advanced features, and educational institutions can get a free site license. Version 2.3 was updated in November 2025. It suits Windows users who maintain websites or move files to remote servers.
