About cross-seed
cross-seed looks at torrents you already have and searches your other trackers for matching releases. When it finds a match, it adds the torrent so you can seed the same data on more trackers without downloading it again.
It runs in the background, cross-seeds new downloads as they arrive and watches for new uploads that match your library. It can match files that were renamed or reorganized, and partial matching handles torrents with extra samples or NFO files you do not have. It suits private tracker users who want to build ratio.
