About Cyrus IMAP
Cyrus IMAP is a mail server that also stores contacts and calendars. It supports IMAP, JMAP, CalDAV and CardDAV, Sieve filtering, search, replication, and authentication through Cyrus SASL. It works with antivirus and antispam toolkits and handles SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
The project began at Carnegie Mellon University in 1993 and is used by universities and companies. The current stable branch is 3.12, with a 3.13 development series. It suits administrators running larger installations more than individuals wanting a quick setup.
