About GPT fdisk
GPT fdisk consists of gdisk, cgdisk, sgdisk and fixparts. gdisk works interactively in the style of fdisk, cgdisk offers a curses menu, and sgdisk is scriptable. They edit GUID Partition Table (GPT) disks, and fixparts repairs certain damage to MBR disks and converts partitions between primary and logical.
The tools run on Linux, FreeBSD, macOS and Windows. They suit administrators and experienced users who need precise control over partition layouts or need to convert and repair partition tables.
