About Greenclip
Greenclip keeps a history of your clipboard selections so you can switch back to an earlier one instead of selecting the same text again. The history is shown and searched through rofi, the keyboard-driven menu that many tiling window manager users already have.
You can also set static entries that always appear at the end of the history, which works as a simple snippet list. A static binary is available, so it runs without extra dependencies. It suits keyboard-focused Linux setups built around rofi.
Strengths
- Integrates with rofi for keyboard-driven selection
- Static entries that act as reusable snippets
- Static binary with no dependencies to install
Limitations
- Needs rofi or a similar setup; no graphical window of its own
- Configured through files rather than a settings screen
