GSmartControl is a front end for smartctl from the smartmontools package. It reads a drive's SMART data, highlights anomalies automatically, runs SMART self-tests and shows identity information, capabilities, attributes and device statistics. It can also open saved smartctl output as a read-only virtual device.

It works on most operating systems that smartctl supports. Download only from gsmartcontrol.shaduri.dev or the GitHub repository; the developer warns that gsmartcontrol.com is a phishing site.
