About Iridium Browser

Iridium Browser is built from the Chromium code base with changes aimed at user privacy. It prevents automatic transmission of partial queries, keywords and metrics to central services unless the user approves it, and the project states that its builds are reproducible and its modifications auditable.

Releases are published as source code tarballs, and maintainers are encouraged to build their own packages. Version 2026.08.151.2, based on Chromium 151, was released in August 2026. There is no version for Android, iOS or other mobile platforms.
