About KPhotoAlbum
KPhotoAlbum is a photo organizer from the KDE community, aimed at people with hundreds or thousands of images on their hard drive. Its focus is description rather than editing: you tag images with the people in them, the places they were taken and other categories of your own.
The tagging workflow is built for speed, so hundreds of images can be tagged quickly with some practice. Searches can combine tags, for example a particular person at a particular place, to find an image in a few seconds.
