About Lazarus
Lazarus is an integrated development environment for Free Pascal, built for rapid application development in the style of Delphi. Its graphical form designer lets you drag and drop components to build desktop interfaces, and a Delphi converter helps bring existing Delphi projects across.
It is used to build file browsers, database applications, graphics tools, games and scientific software, for open-source or commercial release. Version 4.8 installers are offered for Windows, Linux (DEB and RPM, including Raspberry Pi) and macOS on both Apple Silicon and Intel. A wiki, forums and a mailing list support learners and professionals.
