About Lepton EDA
Lepton EDA is a community fork of the gEDA/gaf tools for drawing electronic schematics and producing netlists for simulators and PCB layout programs. It includes a schematic editor, an attribute editor, a symbol library and command-line tools, built on shared Lepton libraries.
The project is published under the GPL and developed in the open on GitHub, with a long commit history. It suits people already used to the gEDA workflow, or anyone who wants a free, scriptable schematic tool that fits into a toolchain of separate programs.
