About Mnemosyne

Mnemosyne is a flashcard tool that uses a scheduling algorithm to pick when each card comes up for review. Cards you tend to forget are shown more often, and cards you know well are shown less often. The interface is kept simple for beginners, while power users can customise it with plugins and scripts.

The project is also a research effort into long-term memory. If you choose to, you can upload anonymous statistics about your learning so they can be studied and used to improve the scheduling algorithm.
