About WaniKani
WaniKani teaches around 2,000 kanji and 6,000 vocabulary words in a fixed order, starting from radicals. Each item comes with a mnemonic to help it stick, and a spaced-repetition system schedules reviews so that items come back just as you are likely to forget them.
It is made by Tofugu and runs in the browser. It suits self-learners who want to read native Japanese material and prefer a structured path over building their own flashcard decks.
