About nmon
nmon (Nigel's performance Monitor) is a console tool for system administrators. On screen it uses curses with low CPU overhead, refreshes every two seconds, and lets you toggle views of CPU, memory, network, disks, file systems, NFS and top processes with single keystrokes. It runs on Linux for POWER, x86, mainframe and ARM, including Raspberry Pi.
It can also save data to a CSV file for longer-term capture and graphing with nmonchart. The companion njmon writes JSON or Line Protocol for InfluxDB and Grafana.
