About Optimizer
Optimizer is a Windows configuration utility for privacy, security and performance tweaks, meant for use after a fresh Windows install. It can turn off telemetry, Cortana and Copilot, disable services and automatic updates, uninstall built-in apps, clean the system drive and browser profiles, edit the hosts file, change DNS servers and manage startup programs, and it supports silent runs from a template file.
The author has deprecated Optimizer and replaced it with OptimizerNXT, and the repository is archived. The last release is 16.7 from August 2024.
