About OrCAD X
OrCAD X is Cadence's PCB design platform covering schematic capture, SPICE and mixed-signal simulation, PCB layout and manufacturing output. It is aimed at individuals, startups and small to medium-sized engineering teams.
It comes in Standard, Professional and Professional Plus editions: Standard targets everyday board designs, Professional adds data management, collaboration and high-speed design, and Professional Plus adds deeper SPICE and mixed-signal analysis. A free trial and a viewer are available.
