About Parted Magic
Parted Magic is a bootable disk management system that runs from a USB stick, so you can start any PC from it and work on the drives without touching the installed operating system. It runs entirely in memory.
It covers three main jobs: secure erase of hard drives, SSDs, NVMe and eMMC storage to NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 2 Purge standards, partition management with VisParted, and whole-disk cloning with its Clonezilla build. It also includes data rescue and benchmarking tools. It supports UEFI Secure Boot and SATA, NVMe, eMMC and USB interfaces, and the licence covers unlimited drives.
