About Plasma Mobile
Plasma Mobile is a user interface for mobile devices developed by the KDE community. Instead of shipping as a single image, it works with various Linux distributions to put an open platform on supported phones in place of the stock software.
It builds on Plasma Desktop and established Linux projects. KWin serves as the Wayland compositor, ModemManager handles telephony, and PulseAudio or PipeWire drives sound. KDE also publishes mobile apps for it, such as Plasma Camera and Plasma Settings.
