About Droidian

Droidian is a downstream Debian derivative whose goal is to run Debian on Android phones. It uses libhybris and Halium to reuse the phone's existing Android hardware support, so a regular Linux system can run on devices that were never designed for it.

The project publishes images built by continuous integration, a list of supported devices, a porting guide for bringing Droidian to new phones, a wiki and a forum for support. It suits people with a compatible Android phone who want a Debian system in place of Android.
