About qTox
qTox is an instant messaging client for Tox, an encrypted peer-to-peer protocol. It handles text chat, voice and video calls, and file transfers. Contacts are added through Tox IDs rather than through a central service.
This repository is the official fork maintained by the toxcore developer team (TokTok), which continues development of the original qTox project. Builds are available for Windows, macOS on both Apple silicon and Intel, several Linux distributions, and FreeBSD.
