About Rapid Photo Downloader
Rapid Photo Downloader copies photos and videos from cameras, memory cards and other devices onto a Linux computer. It builds file and folder names from rules you configure, can download from several devices at once, and backs up files as they are copied.
Before importing you can filter, sort and pick the shots you want, using a timeline to separate different shooting sessions. It runs under GNOME, KDE and other Linux desktops, and on the Windows Subsystem for Linux on Windows 11. Version 0.9.37 was released in February 2026.
