About SchildiChat

SchildiChat is a family of instant messengers for the Matrix protocol. It is based on Element, the reference Matrix client, but rearranges the interface to look and behave more like a conventional chat app, with a layout familiar to users of mainstream messengers.

The project offers an Android app and a desktop app, plus older legacy versions. It suits Matrix users who like Element's features but prefer a more traditional messenger layout.
