About NeoChat

NeoChat is KDE's app for the Matrix network, used to send text, video and audio messages to family, friends and colleagues. It supports Matrix Spaces for finding communities, and several unstable Matrix features such as polls, sticker packs and location events.

The project aims to cover the whole Matrix specification, but VoIP calls, threads and some aspects of end-to-end encryption are not supported yet. It is released regularly as part of KDE Gear and can be installed from Flathub or a Linux distribution's package manager.
