About SponsorBlock

SponsorBlock skips sponsor segments in YouTube videos using timestamps submitted by its users. It can also skip intros, outros and reminders to subscribe, and jump straight to a video's highlight.

Lookups use a privacy-preserving query system. The source code is open, the database can be downloaded by anyone, and there is a public API that you can mirror yourself. Third-party ports extend it to other platforms, and it is funded by donations.
