About Terminator
Terminator puts multiple terminals in a single window and lets you split it horizontally and vertically into a grid of panes. It is aimed at people who keep several shells open at once, such as when watching logs while editing on a server, and prefer tiling them in one place to juggling separate windows.
The project is written in Python and includes remotinator, a helper for controlling a running Terminator instance from scripts. Development happens in the open on GitHub, with translations, tests and a maintained changelog.
