About Vellum
Vellum takes an imported manuscript and builds a complete book from it, including title page and table of contents. It generates ebook files for Kindle, Kobo, Apple Books and other stores, validated EPUB 3 and EPUB 2, review copies for beta readers in EPUB and MOBI, and accessible output.
For print it sets up margins, page numbers, headers and footers for a chosen trim size, handles widows and spread balancing, and exports PDF/X-1a for paperback or hardcover. Styles, drop caps, ornaments and embedded fonts control the look. It runs only on macOS 13 or newer.
