About Veyon

Veyon lets teachers see student screens, remotely control, lock or restart machines, and send websites, files and applications to selected devices during a lesson. Finished work can be collected centrally afterwards.

It runs directly on the endpoint computers with no cloud platform, so schools keep everything on their own infrastructure. Veyon has been developed in Chemnitz, Germany since 2004, is licensed under GPLv2, and offers paid add-ons for institutions that need more.
