About XenServer
XenServer is a server virtualization platform built on the Xen hypervisor. It is installed on servers to host and manage virtual machines, and version 9 is the current release, with changes aimed at workload efficiency and platform security.
It is closely tied to Citrix: XenServer is included as an entitlement in several Citrix private cloud and platform subscriptions, and it is also used outside Citrix environments. A Trial Edition is available for evaluation. It suits organisations running Citrix workloads or looking for a commercial hypervisor.
