About BitComet
BitComet is a free download client written in C++ that handles BitTorrent, HTTP and FTP. It supports magnet links, HTTP seeding, the DHT network, UDP trackers and BitTorrent protocol v2.
Its long-term seeding feature looks for extra seeds to finish downloads stuck near completion, and it caches data in memory to reduce disk writes. When downloading video it fetches the start and end of files first so they can be previewed. Version 2.22 is available for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android.
