About BubbleUPnP Server

BubbleUPnP Server extends a home UPnP/DLNA network. It gives secure, bandwidth-friendly internet access to your media servers, adds OpenHome compatibility to renderers, transcodes formats a Chromecast cannot play, and can make a Chromecast act as a UPnP/DLNA or OpenHome renderer. It can also proxy media servers to work around some of their faults.

It is not a media server itself and does not index media. It runs anywhere Java is available, and some features require the Android BubbleUPnP app.
