About Serviio

Serviio streams music, video and images from a computer to renderer devices on the home network, such as TVs, Blu-ray players, games consoles and phones. It uses device profiles and transcoding to work around formats a particular device cannot play.

Because it is built on Java it runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, including NAS devices. The free edition covers home streaming; a paid Pro edition adds access over the Internet through MediaBrowser or apps, and there is Alexa voice control.
