About Gerbera
Gerbera is a media server that shares a home media library with UPnP and DLNA devices such as TVs, PlayStation consoles, and Android and iOS phones and tablets. Optional on-the-fly transcoding converts files to formats a device can play.
It extracts metadata from music files automatically, and JavaScript scripts let you define how the collection is laid out on client devices, while the default layout works without customisation. Gerbera continues the MediaTomb project, building on MediaTomb 0.12.1. Version 3.3.0 is the current release.
