About Dayon!
Dayon! lets a helper watch and control a remote computer, and is aimed at assisting people who are new to computers. The person being helped does not need to configure firewalls, routers or NAT: their side acts as a client connecting to the assistant, and since release 16 the connection is inverted automatically when the assistant's port cannot be reached.
To keep bandwidth low it sends compressed, cached grayscale images. Recent releases query public STUN servers when needed and can optionally use private TURN servers. It is written in Java and runs across platforms.
