About Fileside
Fileside is a file manager for macOS and Windows that goes beyond dual-pane with tiled folder panes. You can save layouts of commonly used locations for different projects and switch between them. The panes remember their own settings.
It has a thumbnail grid view, in-pane and full-screen previews on the Space key, recursive folder search, and a locations palette on Cmd/Ctrl+P for jumping to bookmarked or recent folders. Folder moves offer several merge strategies, and undo covers file operations as well as layout changes.
