About Graphite
Graphite is a 2D graphics editor that combines layer-based compositing with node-based generative design, so every edit stays nondestructive. The tools you use on the canvas are wrappers around a node graph core, which makes procedural patterns, boolean operations and generated animation part of normal work.
It started as a vector editor and is growing into an all-in-one graphics toolbox covering vector, raster and animation, with desktop publishing planned. The project is still in alpha and runs in the web browser. It suits people who like procedural design and creative coding with nodes.
