About Grist
Grist combines the familiar spreadsheet grid with relational data, so tables can reference each other and be turned into simple no-code apps. Cell-level access rules control who can see what, including what the built-in AI assistant can access.
The core, grist-core, is open source and can be run on your own server, or you can use the managed service with a free team plan. It suits people and organisations outgrowing tangled spreadsheets and looking for an Airtable alternative they can host themselves.
