About Minarca

Minarca has two parts: an agent installed on each Windows, macOS or Linux computer to be backed up, and a central server you host yourself to manage everything. The agent can be used through a graphical interface or the command line. Backups are file-based and built on rdiff-backup, so data can be recovered with or without Minarca.

The server dashboard gives an overview of all backups and warns about problems. A multi-tenant design gives each user or customer a separate account with its own storage and quotas, which suits service providers and system administrators as well as home users.
